Sourav Ganguly worried about Indian cricket’s image Former India captain, now the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) president In a letter sent to the BCCI,Sourav said that he is”deeply scared and worried”about how the cricket is going on in India.
Cricinfo has received the letter written by Sourav to the board. They said that how the Indian team coach Ravi Shastri became‘terrifying’in the letter, the former India captain said. The former captain also criticized the involvement of BCCI Chief Executive Officer Rahul Zohri in the Mitra debate.Apart from this,Ganguly has also criticized the changing of the rules of the game in the domestic season of India,in the middle of the season.
He was directly involved in two issues in which Sourav expressed concern about the three issues. The BCCI had the consent of the Committee of Administrators(COA)the governing body appointed by the Supreme Court of India. Sourav was in the committee to replace Ravi Shastri as coach for Anil Kumble in the absence of captain Virat Kohli. To ensure that Shastri could apply for the post of coach, the extension was extended while submitting the application.
Ganguly wrote a straightforward letter in his letter,I do not know how true the facts are.Due to these reports of abuse, the image of the board is being damaged. It is more than the way the whole thing is being handled. There were four members before the COA.Now it’s two members. There are still differences between the two.
